Ketan Trivedi, - Registered Physiotherapist
Ketan achieved his Bachelors of Physiotherapy degree in 2010 from Rajiv Gandhi University Health Sciences, India. He has been practicing for 7 years in different settings like Hospitals, Long Term Care, and Out Patient departments. He is a member in good standing with Ontario College Of Physiotherapy & Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He has acquired a number of specialized certifications which includes Acupuncture Level -II , Mc Kenzie Part - I, Vestibular Rehablitation. He is currently working on the certification of Concussion Management.
Ketan say he choose physiotherapy as a career because he was interested in knowing the anatomy and mechanisam behind sports specific injuries. Then it became his passion to treat those injuries by using different tools from his tool box.
When He is not working he enjoys cooking, spending time with his 4 year old son and watching basketball.
Preyal Puri, - Resident Physiotherapist
Preyal is young, passionate and dynamic professional with a commitment to serving people. Preyal completed her bachelor’s degree of physiotherapy in 2012. During her experience she had the privilege of treating patients of all ages and background in various multidisciplinary setting. She is trained in manual therapy, Kinesio taping, Cupping, Maitland Mobilization, Active release techniques.
Her clinical practice includes manual therapy, muscle retraining and specific exercise prescription. She is always eager to learn more, share more and provide high quality service to clients using evidence-based research and techniques. Her goal is to help her patient’s move better, feel better and return to doing the things that they love.
Dedicated to continuing her education and evolving her skills, Preyal consistently thrives to evolve her practice by merging the most recent, evidence-based literature with a holistic approach. She is passionate about her work and takes pride in connecting with her patients as they embark on their healing journeys.
Preyal love to spend time with her family and friends during her spare time. She loves traveling to new places, cooking, baking and workout.
Dr. Pavacic, - Chiropractor
Dr. Pavacic graduated in the top of his class from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College following his four-year intensive training program which emphasized root cause, management and prevention of pain, injury and dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system.
When it comes to synchronizing healing techniques, Dr. Pavacic is well attuned to a multidisciplinary approach. He brings extensive training and a health sciences background to bring patients a diverse range of expertise: chiropractic care, muscle therapy (active release), manual therapy, rehabilitation exercise, postural/ergonomic advice, and nutritional and lifestyle counselling.
Dr. Pavacic also has extensive knowledge in Active Release Technique – ART, custom orthotics/shoes, compression hosiery, and the assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal conditions connected with sports, work, and/or motor vehicle-accident injuries.
A community leader and passionate soccer fan, Dr. Pavacic maintains his skills through continuing education whenever possible. A proud father of two, Dr. Pavacic holds a professional membership status with the Ontario Chiropractic Association and Canadian Chiropractic Association.
Vraj Patel, - Massage Therapist
Vraj is a Registered Massage Therapist and Registered Radiation Therapist. He grew up in Anand, India and has been living in Hamilton since 2017.
Completing a Bachelors in Radiation Therapy from Sardar Patel University in 2017, Vraj came to Canada and completed an Advanced Diploma Program in Massage Therapy and graduated in August 2019. In addition to being an RMT, Vraj also holds CAMRT certification and is a Registered Radiation Therapist.
With a background in radiation oncology for cancer and in massage therapy for musculoskeletal conditions and other health-related purposes, his goal is to combine the knowledge and skills he has learned and use it for the best care and treatment of his patients.
Vraj is also going to bring Oncology Massage Therapy, an approach of massage therapy for people who are living with cancer or have a history of cancer. These treatments are going to be very well focused and personalised for cancer patients.
Vraj wants to maximize his patients’ quality of life through high quality treatment and attentive care. He is also a huge advocate in using education as a tool to help patients treat, live with, and prevent injuries and pain.
Nisha, - Receptionist / Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA)
Nisha is a graduate from Humber College as a Occupational/Physiotherapist Assistant. She has experience treating in the hospital setting and clinical setting as an OTA/PTA during her clinical placements .She has developed experience in Manual therapy including Neuromuscular therapy and soft tissue massage therapy .She assists the Physiotherapists, to help provide high-level care. Nisha also has considerable administrative experience in clinical settings. So much more than just a friendly and helpful voice on the phone, Nisha does everything from keeping our schedules in order and our clinic organized, to managing insurance claims and billing. She always goes the extra mile to enhance the experience of our patients, and to support our staff.
Maleah Omari, - Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA)
Maleah graduated from the University of Guelph-Humber where she received hands on and practical learning. She graduated with a Bachelors Science Degree in Kinesiology with honours and a Diploma in Health and Fitness promotion. During the 4 year honours program, she received exercise prescription training for all levels of fitness. She is qualified to assess client needs and collaborate with a Physiotherapist to provide and execute exercises for different needs. She is extremely passionate about health, fitness and taking care of the body. She has many years of experience collaborating with co-workers and is quite experienced in customer service, she is always prepared greet you with smiling eyes and a friendly demeanor. She is well adjusted to providing the utmost professionalism and her ultimate goal as a Physiotherapy Assistant is to ensure everyone gets the care they need to comfortably complete daily activities. She hopes to share her knowledge of human kinetics and to help strengthen the connection between mind and body for patients to recover from injuries, improve movement patterns and to feel better overall. In her free time she enjoys practicing and teaching Yoga as a certified Yoga instructor, working out, bettering herself in the field of nutrition and playing sports.
